Project 1: Get me home! The ride sharing app for party lovers

Context

when? where? who? why?

You are in a bar, having a few drinks with your friends after a long day. You have to head home at some time. No problem! I'll just take the car and be home in a few minutes. Hold on ! Thinking like that might lead to an incident on the road, putting your life and those of others in danger.

Introducing an app that monitors your drinking during the night, while you have fun and catch up with friends. At the end of the evening, if you are in no fit state to take the wheel. The app detects it and signals for a car to collect you. Not just any car, but an autonomous vehicule. No need to call a driver, just a few clicks and your driver car then picks you up.

Target

for whom?

Aren't you sick of having to worry how to get home after a great night out? This is for everyone who has experienced the sadness of being the only one who is not drunk at a party because he has to drive. Furthermore, this is for those who have experienced being to drunk to call an uber to get back home. And we don't even want to talk about those people who are trying to figure out which bus to take.

Service offered

what? how?

Our idea is as follows: Create an application that will reduce the number of alcohol-related accidents while allowing users to enjoy their evenings. Thus, our application will collect data allowing it to measure the user's blood alcohol level and propose a safe solution for travelling by car. Data collection will be done through payment applications on phones which are more and more frequent. The user will have to enter his physiological characteristics when he registers on the application so that the calculations of his blood alcohol level are relevant. The solutions that will be offered to users will be diverse and varied. The journey can be made by means of an autonomous car owned by the user or by one of the many VTC transport applications (UBER, Kapten, etc)

Project 2: App to make the driver and its passengers discover the city around the topic of beer

Context

when? where? who? why?

If you want to visit a new city, or to rediscover it with your friends, you will eventually end up in bars. The beverage industry is quite dynamic, so lots of new bars are created each year. To catch up with the evolution of the city, the app relies on the community of beer enthousiasts sharing their experiences. Concurrently, the city may be the home of many traffic jams, thus some newcomers may easily lose their time. We offer for the group to receive offers to visit the best places, based on the real-time traffic, on the ratings of other enthousiasts and obviously on the preferences entered by the whole crew. The friends would by driven autonomously to an unknown place and only would focus on having fun.

Target

for whom?

Let’s suppose that the car of the future has been ultimately released, and that with this level 4 or 5 of autonomy, the driver is able to be distracted, to sleep, to chat with his friends… or to be tipsy. During a night out, the driver could -without having any second thought or crossing any legal line – drink as much as his friends, and hopefully make a pub crawl to discover the town. The car could lead the group from a bar to another, and safely get it back home. A tool might help the car to decide whether to stop the ride or not by assessing the level of alcohol in the blood of the crew. Everyone would enjoy the evening without harming neither themselves nor someone else.

Service offered

what? how?

Our service provides entertainment for tourists by making them visit cities in autonomous cars, being at the same time safe and funny. Enjoy your ride with a few friends by doing activities while you are guided through the city. Our personalized offer lets you choose your track and discover what interests you.
